The Project Background & Construction Condition:
The Nineteen Peaks Scenic Zone is a provincial scenic area featuring Danxia landform with layers of peaks and ridges and deep ravines. It also boasts a literary culture in a beautiful natural setting. This is a complementary project of a national scenic zone and will serve as an ideal place to hold different kinds of conference.
Preparation or Progress of the Project: The project has been verified and evaluated by national experts.
Construction Scale and Contents of the Project:
The total investment for this project will be US$34.22 million, and the land to be used will be 16 hectares. It is planned that restaurants and beverage stores will be placed along the river, and a transportation service center and a tourist shopping area will be arranged along the street. A 4 or 5-star resort and hotel for business conference will be built by the town of Jingling, with 20,000 sqaure meters of construction area and 200 guest rooms. In addition, there will be a conference hall big enough for 300 people and several conference rooms for medium and small conferences.
Cooperative Modes: Joint venture or foreign sole proprietorship is intended.
Cooperative Conditions Provided by the Chinese Side of the Project: The Chinese side, as the manager of scenic spots, will cooperate with or assist investors in any item of this project.
About the Chinese Side of the Project:
Scenic Tourism Development Co., Ltd. of Xinchang County is a state-owned company of sole proprietorship directly administered by the People’s Government of Xinchang County. Its total capital runs to 100 million yuan, of which 80 million yuan is fixed capital. The company manages three provincial scenic and interesting spots, namely, Dafo, literally the Great Buddha, Temple, the Wozhou Lake, and The Nineteen Peaks. Its annual revenue is more than 15 million yuan.
