The Trade to Which the Project Belongs: Tourism and Services
The Project Background & Construction Condition: Da Xiang Lin (literally, the Great Fragrant Woods) Scenic Spot of Shaoxing is situated in Xingtang Area Hutang Residential District and is a key organic connecting place in Keyan-Jianhu Tourist Zone with recreational function. It consists of the hundred-year-old Fragrant Woods in Xianglin Huayu (literally Fragrant Woods with Many Flowers like Rain While Falling) Scenic Zone, a number of temples with long histories and traditional hamlets in the wooded mountains of Shaoxing.
Preparation or Progress of the Project: Planning and designing of this scenic spot is underway.
Construction Scale and Contents of the Project:
Total amount of investment is US$18.14 million. The project covers Xianglin Flower Rain Zone, Xianglin Temple, Baolin Temple, Jijing Temple and their surrounding areas totaling about 400 hectares, of which 30 hectares are construction land. This scenic spot will mainly embody the tradition of literary culture, natural mountains and woods, and religious culture of Shaoxing and provide tourists with accommodations, food and drink, and shopping.
Cooperative Modes: To be decided by discussion.
Cooperative Conditions Provided by the Chinese Side of the Project:
The Chinese side will assist investors in the preparation and construction of items, coordinate work done by various groups, offer consultation, and act as an agent to report to and seek approval from authorities, to register at industrial and commercial administrations and customs, etc.
About the Chinese Side of the Project:
The Administrative Office of Keyan Travel and Resort Zone is authorized by the Party Committee and County Government of Shaoxing to be in charge of the development of this scenic zone and services for business soliciting. It will provide the project with “Green Passage” service (Special Preferential Service) and answer all related questions and help resolve problems in a prompt, effective, and considerate manner.
