As learnt from Hangzhou Customs, the total import and export volume in Zhejiang in the first four months of this year reached 92.05 billion US Dollars, with a year-on-year increase of 26.5%. In particular, the export volume was 62.74 billion dollars with a year-on-year growth of 26.1%, and the import volume was 29.31 billion dollars with a year-on-year increase of 27.4%. The increase rate of export and import volume was lower than the national average rate by 1.3% and 2.7% respectively.

The import and export volume in April was 25.58 billion dollars, with a year-on-year growth of 26.6%, and a period-on-period growth of 6%. The export volume reached 18.08 billion dollars with a year-on-year growth of 31.1% and a period-on-period growth of 14.1%. The monthly export volume has hit a new record in history. The import volume was 7.5 billion dollars, with a year-on-year increase of 16.9%.
