The Report on Zhejiang’s prevention and control of air pollution was released on July 28, showing that the air quality, though still in dire straits, was going for the better.
Zhejiang has been promoting the energy mix shift and limiting the traffic of high-emission vehicles in recent two years. This year, in particular, more efforts were made to gear up adjustments in energy mix and industrial structure, strengthen the prevention of and curb on industrial and automobile pollution, and enhance the mechanism for preventing and controlling air pollution and surveillance capacity, in a bid to better the air quality.
