The provincial government held a video conference on the work of preventing geological hazards in Zhejiang on February 1, which formally initiated the 3-year action plan for “preventing hazards for safe housing”.
Che Jun, Governor and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, stressed that all regions and relevant departments in Zhejiang should adhere to the people-centered development philosophy, thoroughly implement the plan and arrangements made by the provincial Party committee and the provincial government and put positive efforts into hazard prevention and mitigation in order to win a decisive victory in the battle of preventing geological hazards and ensure the safety of people’s lives and property.
Sun Jingmiao presided over the conference. The top leaders of Lishui City, Taishun County and Lin’an City gave a speech separately at the breakout sessions.
