On the afternoon of the 10th October, the provincial government held a forum on handling No. 114 key proposal by the Provincial People’s Congress--"Proposal on Vigorously Developing ‘New Services’ in Digital Life". Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor Zheng Shanjie carefully listened to the opinions and suggestions of the representatives of the Provincial People's Congress, and conducted in-depth exchanges and communications on strengthening implementation and accelerating the development of "new services" in digital life.

Liang Liming attended the forum and delivered a speech. At the forum, the person in charge of proposal handling put forward his reply, and the head of the Provincial People's Congress and relevant representatives expressed satisfaction with the reply and the preliminary measures.

Zheng Shanjie expressed his gratitude to the representatives of the Provincial People's Congress for their strong support to the work of the provincial government. He pointed out that the "new services" in digital life have provided convenience to thousands of households, brought vitality to all walks of life, and created jobs for millions of people. With high political stance, deep thinking and pragmatic planning, the proposal of vigorously developing the “new services” of digital life fits the Party Central Committee’s strategic deployment on building a new dual-cycle development pattern, closely follows the major decision of the Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government to implement the “No. 1 Project” of the digital economy, and echoes the people’s actual needs of the people and the market players, and is therefore a high-quality good proposal. The provincial government attaches great importance to the proposal, and relevant departments take it as an opportunity to improve their work systems and supporting facilities, and have launched a series of activities. As a result, we have achieved important initial results in the development of "new services" in digital life.

Zheng Shanjie emphasized that we must establish a forefront awareness, adhere to a problem-oriented approach, adopt more pragmatic measures to promote the "new service" of digital life and advance with the times for development, so as to become a strong province in digital service. We must further consolidate the industrial foundation, target the life service industry, promote the application of artificial intelligence, big data and other technologies, and accelerate the deep integration of traditional service industries such as rural economy, health care, cultural tourism with the Internet. We must further enrich the application scenarios, expand the application scope, accelerate the digital transformation of all-scenarios such as food, accommodation, travel, shopping, entertainment and government services, build a batch of smart business circles and smart neighborhoods, establish a batch of digital life service centers in communities, and create a batch of demonstration towns, model counties (cities, districts), and pioneer cities. We must further improve the institutional supply, study and formulate special policies to support the "new services" of digital life, and promote the application of public data in a safe state. We must further optimize the market environment, benchmark the best in the world, promote the digital transformation of the government, deepen the "Internet + decentralization and service", accelerate the construction of a "mobile-office province" and create a better business environment with a better government service.

Zheng Shanjie urged the provincial government and various departments to attach great importance to the proposals of the deputies to the People's Congress, encourage and support them to make more proposals that closely fit Zhejiang's reality, promote Zhejiang’s economic and social development, and accelerate the construction of an "important window". He asked them to adopt a serious and rigorous style of work in handling proposals, making replies and improving the details, and make efforts to satisfy the deputies and the people through handling proposals, solving problems and promoting development.
