All local governments and departments must dare to think and practice to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and fully implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s proposal at the meeting on comprehensively promoting the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt that the protection and restoration of the ecological environment should be traced to the source and treated systematically. Based on the implementation of the "Double-Eight Strategy" and the creation of an "important window", we will strengthen the construction of ecological civilization in all fields, regions and aspects, broaden the transformation channels of "two-mountain theory", and promote efficient transformation of the value of ecological products, so as to push the high-quality leap-forward development of 26 mountainous counties in a systematic way.

Longquan is famous for its swords and blue porcelain. Zheng Shanjie visited the Blue Porcelain Studio and Shen Guanglong Sword Workshop to learn more about the cultural heritage of swords and porcelain and the development of traditional industries. He pointed out that we must carefully protect, inherit, and carry forward the unique sword-porcelain culture of Longquan, promote the creative transformation and development of excellent traditional culture, and organically integrate it with industrial development, so that the century-old classic industry can be rejuvenated in the new era."

Walking along the mountain trail of the lush green Fengyang Mountain-Baishanzu National Nature Reserve, Zheng Shanjie examined the effect of ecological environment protection and inquired about the local practice of creating a national park. He pointed out that the creation of a national park from a high starting point is a realistic path and a major opportunity for high-quality development in mountain counties in the central and western regions of our province. We must correctly handle the current and long-term relationship between protection and development, and with the spirit of overcoming difficulties and careful skills, we must work together for the creation of a national park. We must focus on solving the problem of unbalanced and insufficient regional development, take the lead in promoting green development, and make greater efforts to promote economic ecologicalization and ecological industrialization, so as to construct a beautiful ecological economy for the entire industry, and promote green development to get rich and strong.

In Guyan Town of Liandu District, setting against the crystal clear canal water with the lush ancient camphor trees on both sides, the 1500-year-old town looks serene and simple. Nowadays, with the boom of tourism and green development, the life for the town people is getting better and better. Zheng Shanjie was very pleased to see this and praised it as a vivid example of the harmony between man and nature. As tourism is a project to enrich the people, he said, we must pay full attention to the integration of culture and tourism, and create a unique and unforgettable ecological cycle of landscape humanities, so as to make its beautiful scenery a "poetic distant place" in the hearts of tourists.

Zheng Shajie emphasized that ecological development is the most precious wealth of mountainous counties and the greatest potential in our province. We must hold high the ecological banner, polish the green development, and promote the construction of beautiful cities, beautiful towns, and beautiful villages in a systematic way, so as to make each place beautiful with unique features. We must focus on the interconnection of infrastructure, speed up the construction of major projects such as high-speed rails and expressways, and coordinate the construction of new infrastructure and traditional infrastructure. We must vigorously cultivate a beautiful economy with a green and low-carbon cycle, so that health, culture, tourism, fashion, and agriculture will become new growth points for industrial development and expansion of investment and consumption.
