China's national legislature opened its annual session on the morning of March 5 in Beijing.
Chinese leaders attended the opening meeting of the fourth session of the 13th National People's Congress, held at the Great Hall of the People.
The Government Work Report delivered at the opening meeting set China's GDP growth target for 2021 at above 6 percent.
Seven NPC deputies were interviewed via video link before the opening meeting. Among them was Yuan Jing, a museum guide at the Memorial Hall of Revolution at Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province.
The Zhejiang delegation to the NPC flew to Beijing on March 3 and held its plenary session on March 4.
