A theme event was held online and offline in Binjiang district, Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province last Thursday to mark the World Accreditation Day.
During the event, Zhejiang authorities released a report of the province's conformity assessment business development in 2021, a series of "Made in Zhejiang" green product evaluation standards, as well as free courses aimed at further improving the quality of local enterprises through accreditation.
A joint initiative by the International Accreditation Forum and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation, the World Accreditation Day is observed annually on June 9 in over 100 economies across the globe.
The theme for this year is "Certification, Accreditation, Inspection and Testing: Delivering Quality Trust and Serving Green Development".

Figures show that there were 2,621 inspection and testing institutions in Zhejiang that issue more than 81.87 million inspection reports annually, the third highest in China, as of the end of May 2022.
At present, the province has 368 green product certified enterprises, accounting for 13.85 percent of the national certified enterprises.
On the afternoon of the same day, a technical expert team carried out technical assistance activities in relevant industrial parks in Shaoxing, Zhuji and other cities in Zhejiang.
