The launch ceremony of Zhejiang Pavilion of the second China International Consumer Products Expo was held in Haikou, capital of South China's Hainan province on July 26.

Eighty-five procurement companies and 184 people from Zhejiang are participating in the expo, which features many Zhejiang-based independent brand enterprises in the international exhibition area.

One of the highlights in this area is the showcase of wine and Spanish ham by an enterprise from Zhejiang province's Qingtian county.

Over at the Zhejiang Pavilion, 18 Zhejiang-based enterprises can be found showcasing the achievements of the province's economic and social development.

The "Cultural Zhejiang" section within the pavilion is displaying consumer goods such as Shaoxing yellow wine, writing brushes produced by Huzhou Shanlian, and Longquan celadon from the Ge kiln which was first established in the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279).

Nine cooperation intention agreements worth 1.82 billion yuan ($270 million) were signed at the launch ceremony.
