Yuecheng District
Located in the south bank of Hangzhoubay, west part of Ningshao Plain, and on the north foot of Kuaiji Mountain, Yuecheng District got its name from the capital moving by Goujian, King of the ancient Yue Kingdom, in 490 BC, and had been one the cradle of the Chinese nationality and the most developed place of the Earlier Yue Culture, owning profound history and abundant historic and cultural resources.
It covers an area of 195.29 square kilometers and has 8 townships and sub-districts, 164 villages and 60 residents' committees under its jurisdiction with a population of 411,300 million, including agricultural population of 101,500.
Located in the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, Keqiao Distirct has Ningbo to the east and Hangzhou to the west. Under the jurisdiction of the county are four sub-district committees and fifteen townships with a population of 710,000. Keqiao is the capital city of the 1,130-square-kilometer county.
One of the first 24 historical and cultural cities in China, Keqiao Distirct was a center of politics, culture and culture in southern China from the Qin and the Han dynasties up to the Ming and the Qing dynasties. The county not only bred outstanding people over centuries but also enjoys a fine reputation as a pearl in southern China, birthplace of silk making, and land of culture and the home of prominent scholars.
Zhuji City
Being the Native Place of Xishi, Zhuji City lies in the middle of the Qiantang River valley, which is 200 kilometers away from Shanghai and 90 kilometers away from Hangzhou.
It covers an area of 2,311 square kilometers with a population of 1.0563 million, and has 24 townships, 3 sub-districts, and 1248 villages under its jurisdiction. There’s also a State-level Scenic Region----Wuxie Scenic Region.
Shangyu District
Located in the middle of Ningshao Plain and east to Shaoxing County, Shangyu covers a total area of 1,403 square meters, with total population of 782,000.
Under its jurisdiction, there are 3 sub-districts, 18 townships, and 746 villages. It's also known as the hometown of building, and hometown of grapes.
Shengzhou is located in the east of Zhejiang Province, close to Hangzhou in the north and Ningbo in the east.It belongs in the Changjiang River Delta Economic Zone and is one of the first group of economic open counties/cities in our country. It covers an area of 1784 square kilometers and has 17 townships, 4 sub-districts, 1145 villages and 46 residents' committees under its jurisdiction with a population of 738,000.Shengzhou proper covers an area of 15.3 square kilometers and has a population of 180,000 with a rate of urbanism of 34.5%.
Shengzhou has formed five major industries with local features. 1. Necktie industry. 2. Electric motor industry.3. Kitchen utensils industry.4. Knitted clothing industry.5. Tea industry.
Xinchang County
Located in the east of Zhejiang, Xinchang County is on the east to Shenzhou City and south to Shangyu City. It covers an area of 1,213 square kilometers with population of 435,200. Under its jurisdiction, there are 16 townships. It’s famous for it tea, Xiaojingsheng Peanut, and many pretty scenic spots like the Great Buddha Temple, and 19 peaks of Chuanyan.
