Chief Function ---To carry out party and governmental guidelines, policies, laws and rules about tourism work, to weave implementing projects or proposals of state, provincial and municipal rules on tourism industry, and organize to implement; to research and weave middle and long-term layouts, development strategies, industrial policies and annual working targets of citywide tourism industry, and organize to carry out and inspect.
---To be in charge of macro management of citywide tourism industry, and weave industrial management criterions; to be in charge of general investigation and layouts of citywide tourism resources, to coordinate development, use and protection of tourism resources; to be in charge of star-level tourism hotels' assess and declaring; to be in charge of assess and declaring of travel agencies; to be in charge of management of plotting out travel sites' level and quality; to participate in macro induction of state, provincial tourism resorts and other key tourism construction projects; to be in charge of statistics, information prediction, consultation, tourism spot checks of citywide tourism industry. ---To research and weave citywide tourism market layouts and annual tourism activity projects, and organize to carry out; to organize flack work of citywide tourism unitary visualize and important sales promotion activities wholly; to organize and induct the development of important tourism products; to manage tourism foreign affairs. ---To organize and induct establishing "China outstanding tourism city"; to induct ideological and ethical progress of citywide tourism industry; to induct work of tourism industrial committee. ---To manage and induct citywide tourism education and training as well as post qualification examinations and authentications; to induct and coordinate personnel resources development of tourism industry. ---To be in charge of induction, approval and declaring investment projects of province wide tourism development fund; to induct social investment and using foreign investment of tourism industry. ---To supervise and inspect programs of tourism markets and service quality, to protect legal rights of tourism consumers and tourism operators; to bear executing tourism administrative laws and administrative duplicate discussion; to be in charge of induction and management of tourism and entertainment work. ---To induct operation work of county, city's governing departments. ---To undertake other matters required by municipal government leaders. |
