Handling Promise
- Special persons and responsibility agents are specified for the examination and approval of foreign investment projects and for the adoption of the Character A and Character B system.
- Urban construction and planning administrative department shall accomplish the examination and approval of "construction purpose land certificaiton", "site selection suggestion" and "construction project planning certificate" and issue the certificate within 20 work days.
- Land administrative departments, when handling land use for foreign investment projects, shall accomplish the examination of the land use project within seven work days, and accomplish land size survey and land price evaluation within 12 work days.
- Both public health department and environmental protection agency shall examine and approve ordinary santiary prevention supervision, and approve the environment effect report of samll and medium-sized projects within five work days.
- Foreign exchange control and finance and tax department shall settle the registration and issue the certificate with one work day as long as the applicant has all required documents ready.
- The public security department shall approve the residence of foreign business representatives who are up th the foreign-related residence requirements within two work days.
- Water, heat and gas supply departments, when dealing with qualified applications, shall accomplish the approval within five work days; the power suppliy department, when dealing with applications, shall reply with a power supply plan withn seven work days for low-voltage supply and 20 work days for hign-voltage supply.
- Customs registration and declaration by foreign-invested enterprises shall be accomplished within one work day as long as they have all required documents ready; commodity inspection registration, GSP registration and Ordinary Certificate of Origin shall be secured with half a work day.
