Shaoxing Eco-type Industry Park is the first industry park in Zhejiang that advocates the ecologic concept.

Within the 43-square-meter park, the layout plan features “one core, four blocks, four axes and seven areas”. Three blocks are for industrial purpose: the western block to accommodate the Park (1st phase) with an area of 10 sq. km, mainly for traditional industries, complete with electromechanical integrated industry and modern farm product processing; the eastern block (east of Houshan scenic spot) to focus on hi-tech industries; the southern block (south of Yuenan Road) to cater to foreign investment.
